Missionaries - Brazil

Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil

My name is Libnis Silva and my wife is Anelyse. We were married on October 19, 2006, and have three
children - Israel 16, Débora 9, and Lídia 8.

I am the missionary-pastor at Hope Baptist Bible Church in Maceió, Alagoas, Brazil, and have been here for five years.

I was blessed to be born into a Christian family. By God's grace I learned about Christ at an early age and was saved by God from my sins when I was 6 years old.

From 2009 to 2013 I studied at SIBIMA (Maranatha Seminary and Bible Institute). I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Sciences, Christian Education and Master of Arts in Biblical Theology.

I had the opportunity to put into practice what I learned at the Parque Santa Rosa Bible Church where I was one of the pastors until 2017.

In 2017, Eriomar Maia and Roger Johansen, missionaries with BGFM Global, invited us to work with the Bible Church in Maceió, Alagoas, a state in Northeast Brazil. This was a major change for us.

Our ministry has focused on local leadership training, seminary teaching and church planting. God is enabling us to continue studying Bible and Theology on the doctoral level. Pray for us and our ministry in Maceió, Alagoas.
