Missionaries - Retired

We went to Brazil in 1963 with our three children, Steve, Chris and Wendy.

 

Our primary goal was church planting and, particularly, substituting for other missionaries on furlough.

 

Wendell was involved in administration and teaching at the Seminary as well as teaching at the Antioch Bible Institute.

 

Florance Ann worked with the children and ladies and taught in the Priscila School, a training program for women and girls. Another ministry Florence Ann enjoyed was working on the Gospel News, the mission publication.

 

We served in the Home Office for two rotations. Due to Wendell's health we returned to the USA after 40 years on the field. We deeply miss the work in Brazil but are happy to be serving the Lord in our local church. We also hold weekly Good News Club at the nearby school.

Our beloved friend and missionary, Wendell Hayden, went home to be with his Lord on May 8, 2019.
