My wife and I have been serving in the revitalization of IBVC (Vale do Caí Baptist Church) in São Sebastião do Caí, South Brazil, since October 2025.

Degree in Management from the Lutheran University of Brazil (Ulbra) in Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul.

Theological training at the United in the Lord Bible Church in Novo Hamburgo / RS, in the Workers’ Training Program (PDM) (2003-2006);

Training in Biblical Counseling through MAB at the Southern Bible Seminary (SBS) (2016-2020).

Testimony:
I have been a believer in the Lord Jesus since 1985.
The early years of my Christian walk were spent at Maranatha Baptist Church in Novo Hamburgo, where I met my wife. We were married at that same church, and sometime later we moved to Unidos no Senhor Bible Church, in the same city. We have been part of that church since 1993, and it is our sending church. We have two grown children Larissa Arend and Jônatas Arend.
Our call to full-time ministry came in 2015, after we had participated for several years in small group ministry in a neighboring town. This ultimately led to the planting of a Bible church in the town of Ivoti. Initially, we served as part of the staff at our church in Novo Hamburgo, but now we are sent out as full time missionaries.
