Missionaries - Brazil

Alisa Pierschbacher

Pacoti, Ceará, Brazil

Name: Alisa Pierschbacher

Joined BGFM: 2005

Academic history: Calvary Bible College

I was born in Brazil to Al and Nadine Pierschbacher who are missionaries with Brazil Gospel Fellowship Mission. I accepted the Lord as my Savior at the age of seven and at an early age I sensed the desire to be a missionary but only was called by God to be a missionary at a high school retreat where the missionary speaker Phil Stucky challenged the high schoolers the need for missionary service. As a result I went to Calvary Bible College where God called me to be a missionary to Brazil. I was accepted with Brazil Gospel Fellowship Mission in 2005 and I graduated from Calvary Bible College in May 2005. I then started my deputation and was able to raise the necessary support in order to serve in Brazil.

I arrived in Brazil October 2007. The first ministries I was invited was in Fortaleza at the New Hope Bible Baptist Church plant by evangelizing, children’s church, as well as counseling and discipling children and young women. Since then I have been in the mountain town of Pacoti working along with my parents helping with the New Hope Bible Baptist Church plant by evangelism, children’s church, good news Bible time with kids on Saturday mornings, Daily Vacation Bible School, as well as discipling and counseling kids and young women. I also assist at the New Hope Bible Training Center in Pacoti.
