Missionaries - Retired

Sam & Jeanne were active missionaries in Brazil from the 50s through the 90s (45 years). They retired in ’98. Jeanne passed away in ’12 (after fighting brain tumors for over 30 years).

 

  Sam continues life without her. He spends much of his day preparing lessons for his SS teaching ministry. He’s also been privileged to make a few trips back to Brazil. Some of his spare time is spent listening to audio books and audio versions of the Bible. When the weather permits, he’s in the woodshop, making wooden toys for little & big kids.

 

  Thanks to the scooter, he gets around well. Macular degeneration has im-pacted his sight greatly, but he continues to serve the Lord with the resources at his disposal.
