Dave and Nancy Eldert
Two Ministries Become One

Dave and Nancy were married
on January 9th, 2010.

They are currently working
on merging their current ministries, which involve
the Antioch Bible Institute,
Silver Lake Bible Camp,
the Mission Guest House
and the Priscila School.

Please pray for wisdom and guidence, and that God will be glorified in this endeavor.

Dave came to Brazil in 1966 as a short-term missionary for nine months. He then returned to the US and married his fiance, Sue Martin. After graduating from Calvary Bible College, Dave and Sue joined BGFM and in 1972 they, with their daughters Kathleen and Paulette, arrived in Brazil. After nine months of language school they were assigned to the city of Pedra Branca for church planting.
While there, Dave was in-volved with the radio ministry as well as teaching theological education by extension classes. Sue home-schooled their four children (Andrew and Regina were born in Brazil).
In 1986 Dave and Sue were asked to move to Vila Paraguai where they min-istered in the Antioch Bible Institute. Dave was the Director there until 2007. This involved creating projects to fund the students' tuition as well as creating remedial courses to aid new students in their biblical training.
Along with their work with ABI, Dave and Sue were also very active at the Silver Lake Bible Camp, where Sue enjoyed cooking and Dave enjoyed teaching. He event-ually became the camp's Director.

Nancy Lieb was born to BGFM missionary parents, Ed and Jane Lieb. After finishing high school she attended Bryan College for two years. She then re-turned to Brazil, where she spent the next two years working for Varig Airlines. Responding to a need in the BGFM Home Office,  Nancy went to Springfield, IL to work as the mission secretary. In 1983 she began attending Calvary Bible College to finish her degree, and in 1986 she arrived on the field in Brazil as a BGFM career missionary.
Nancy has been, and still is,  involved with the Brazil Gospel Fellowship Mission in many areas, including record-keeping and fi-nances for the SIBIMA Seminary, helping with the Priscila School (an annual  one-week-long training seminar for women and young ladies), BGFM Field Treasurer and since 2004, in the positon of BGFM's Guest House Hostess.
Sue Eldert was diagnosed with breast cancer and in 2002 she received chemotherapy and radiation treatments. However, in 2005 the cancer returned and Dave and Sue returned to the US for further treatment. After three years, Sue went to be with the Lord in Sptember of 2008. She is missed by family and many friends.
Dave and Sue's daughter, Kathleen, married Jared Johnson and lives in Winston-Salem, NC with their daughters Daniele and Victoria. Their daughter, Paulette, married David Winters and also lives in Winston-Salem, NC with their children Tyler, Katelyn and Zach. Their son, Andrew, married Edna and lives in Vila Paraguai with their sons Adriel, Anderson and Kelvin. Andrew is involved with the Silver Lake Bible Camp with Dave as well as pastoring a church there. Their daughter, Regina, married Daniel Meetze and lives in Spartanburg, SC with their children Greyson and Elena.
